The Brief

  • Develop a high-level marketing and activity plan to promote the initiative
  • Identify eligible businesses to build an active database of prospects within the Cheshire and Warrington LEP sub-region
  • Create a launch strategy including an e-marketing campaign that targets specific audiences
  • Generate leads through telemarketing activities, identifying interest, checking eligibility and progressing applications
  • Create a series of workshop sessions, including branded support and marketing collateral in relevant formats
  • Deliver a series of workshops to delegates from eligible businesses, providing value and expertise
  • Analyse and report participation and feedback to achieve KPIs and evolve the programme in-line with the digital landscape
  • Follow ERDF guidelines throughout the deployment of the programme.

The Solution

Delivering the project over a two-year period, we segmented the campaign delivery into three key phases.

The first phase was to develop and deliver a concise launch strategy. This included lead generation with specific audiences and the identification of eligible businesses within the specified catchment area. By ensuring that interest was gained in anticipation of the workshops, we were able to fulfil strong delegate numbers from the offset.

Once we had secured participants through telemarketing, social media and email campaigns, we focussed on delivery and amplification of the sessions. The key aim was to engage the audience and promote the added value to their organisation. This included the production of presentations, branded assets and print.

Achieving KPIs and providing ongoing reporting, we were able to optimise and improve as required throughout the terms of the project. We also added a legacy to the programme. Creating online groups on social media, delegates could continue networking beyond the sessions under the Digital+ branding.

By breaking the delivery of the project down into key phases, we were able to rapidly build a substantial funnel of leads from the off-set. Utilising Social Media, Email and Content Marketing, we could directly address the audiences to create engagement and interest.

Feedback is collected from each session to allow for on-going improvement and optimisation. This feedback is also utilised within social media and e-marketing campaigns to promote the benefits of the workshops to further eligible businesses.
