Regarded as one of the most talented drivers of his generation, Dan Ticktum is a rising star of the European Karting scene.
His achievements include 7th place in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 with Arden, victory in the 2017 Macau Grand Prix and winning the 2017 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award. Ticktum was a member of the Red Bull Junior Team from 2017 to 2019 and signed to Rokit Williams Racing in 2020 as a Williams Academy and Development Driver.
We were approached to perform a complete re-design of Dan Ticktum’s official website. This website redesign needed to act as an interactive hub for racing and social activities, that could be versatile enough to be updated reactively during races and events. We worked closely with Dan and his team to understand his personality alongside the key audiences visiting his website. From this we developed a modern, bold and versatile design that reflected his strengths and visually communicated Dan’s stature within the industry. For his target audience the functionality also needed to embrace social media as a core medium to provide instant, digestible content in real time updates.

Working together with the Red Bull team that represents Dan Ticktum, our Developers and Designers brought together Dan’s social media channels in one visually striking website.
Our solution dynamically populates with content from Dan’s social media channels, placing them within a website which builds up an ever-expanding timeline of Dan’s journey.
Built using an open source CMS, the new platform combines real-time race data and live video feeds along with posts and interviews, allowing Dan’s growing fan-base to stay up to date with his achievements.

Providing flexibility to Dan’s marketing and PR team, they were able to effortlessly update his social media channels that fed through to the website automatically. This allowed for a wealth of digestible content to be displayed alongside his career highlights, news articles and race calendar information.
The result is a beautifully versatile website, which is future-proof and visually engaging.
