The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) is the leading professional organisation for medical oncology. With 20,000 members representing oncology professionals from over 150 countries worldwide.
We were asked to create an all-encompassing voice, allowing ESMO to bring the brand and corporate values together in one channel, communicating clearly and effectively to both new and current audiences.
This had to provide an inclusive experience for members and encourage and engage valuable non-member prospects for future ESMO events, whilst ensuring that all content and communications were expertly written and added value to the reader alongside being factual.

As a specialist subject with an extremely niche audience, it was critical that the most appropriate digital platform was used to communicate effectively to provide a clear resource of content. Utilising our team of expert medical writers, ensured that all content was relevant and engaging to this specific audience.
By developing a magazine on a digital content platform, with more than 15 key features included, we were able to develop a fully responsive solution. This also allowed for the magazine to be built off-line, enabling full review and approval prior to launch.

Working closely with ESMO to develop the name and branding for the digital magazine. This included the overarching look, feel and tone of voice which sat in parallel with the dominant ESMO branding; whilst the magazine title conveyed the society’s voice, the people and the stories behind ESMO.
